The room had a fantastic design, but the nearby restaurant noise made it hard to sleep.

The Convent offered a unique stay with its beautifully designed interiors. I enjoyed the balcony room, sipping coffee while taking in the clear views of the city. The stained glass lit up at night, adding a special touch. The bed felt very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The owner clearly put a lot of effort into restoring this place, which I truly appreciated. However, breakfast wasn’t available on Mondays, which was a bit of a letdown. Additionally, the coffee service in the room was lacking, as we could not get fresh coffee on Sunday night. Despite these minor inconveniences, I loved the character of the hotel and would recommend it to friends.

We loved the building's unique character and safe parking, which made it easier for our family of five to explore Auckland. The beds were super comfortable, and we enjoyed the bar area for some evening relaxation while our teens had their own fun.
My wife says that the restaurant music was too loud late into the night, which made it hard for our teens to get a good night's rest.

The Studio with Balcony was amazing! The king bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was beautiful. I loved the small kitchenette and the coffee machine with fresh pods made mornings special. The decor had so much character, and it felt like a cozy retreat. Plus, having pre-dinner drinks at the stylish bar was a nice touch. Just wish there were more options for snacks in the room.

Unique character and helpful staff
I had a wonderful stay in this charming hotel with its stunning decor and characterful interiors. The comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom made for a cozy retreat after exploring the area. A definite highlight was the fantastic shower! The staff went above and beyond by retrieving our forgotten travel documents, which we greatly appreciated. However, the noise from the nearby restaurant could be bothersome for light sleepers.

Had a great time with friends at this unique place. We loved the character and charm of the property. The bar area was perfect for evening drinks, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby cafes and attractions. The comfortable rooms made it easy to unwind after our adventures. The artwork throughout added a fun touch!
One downside was that the café and bar were closed during our stay, which was a letdown since we were looking forward to trying them out.
